NHTSA May Tighten Auto Recall Rules

Perhaps feeling a little stung by the Toyota controversy, NHTSA may take a tougher stance and act more quickly on vehicle recalls. NHTSA is considering civil penalties against Toyota at a time when Congress will be grilling the agency in committee hearings.
